Biography

Alizen is an 18 year old high school senior from Sherman Oaks CES who grew interest in SLR Photography in 2009, when Hoobastank visited the school to shoot their music video for Ghostbusters (see Hoobastank) and held an interview with them. Her journey began with coding back in 2008, where she first began to use Myspace for daily entertainment purposes. She never had the patience (or quite frankly the skill) to make myspace layouts, so she abandoned the idea and started web design. Her love for photography soon flourished within the Myspace Community and she purchased her Nikon D5000 on November 2009. In order to learn more about the style and technique, she attended Stanford University's Digital Media Academy for the Photography and Photoshop program during the summer of 2010. She now works as press through alizenchains.net and Radical Parenting and can be seen at various concerts and events such as Warped Tour and The Cherry Blossom Festival. She will attend the University of California, Riverside in the fall, where she will definitely carry on her love for photography alongside her Psychology major.

Why I Joined AZC

I thought that by joining AZC it would be the perfect opportunity to get my name out there. I love discovering new music and to meet who's behind the lyrics is the absolute chance of a lifetime. So not only would it give me the exposure, but I'd get to meet new bands and artists that come along, too. It's a win-win situation.

Biography

Devonte is a 15 year old, web designer, living in the lovely Charm City (Baltimore). Why I Joined AZC

I joined AZC for many reasons. The first being, the fact that i've always felt like I needed to do something offline or online that would affect the way people think! An online magazine with news, and articles and interviews really makes me feel like I'm somehow impating someone's life.

Biography

Emi is a fifteen year-old girl who attends modeling sessions and aspires to study web design and learn more about computers in college. Some of her interests include modeling, writing music, drawing, playing guitar, singing and making websites- all of which she has been doing since the age of nine. She has been coding websites and designing graphics for six years, starting small on Piczo, moving onto Freewebs and finally to several professional Sub Domains hosted by close friends. As far as academics go, she is a very school-oriented girl and excels in her English and Wood-shop classes. While she likes to keep her options open, she mainly dreams of one day attending Pepperdine University or CalArts. She also speaks Spanish, and she is very interested in expanding her languages and learning German, Latin and French. She also loves Abercrombie, cooking, her friends and boyfriend, the beach, sushi and playing Xbox live. You'll often find her playing old-school Nintendo games such as Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy VII after school or attending concerts with friends.

Tashnia, born on October 1, 1993, has lived in Van Nuys, California her entire life. She is truly a one of a kind girl, being that she is Bengali-American. She attends Sherman oaks CES with the owner, Alizen, and will be graduating on June 2011. She plans on attending the University of California, Berkeley where she will major in biology. She has always aspired to be a doctor from a very young age and she enjoys helping those around her. Tashnia has also always expressed a love of photography but she found that she can truly connect with people through interviews. Her fascination to learn about people and the world around her has brought her to join the team of Alizenchains.net. On her free time, Tashnia likes to spend time with her friends and family. She also has developed a liking for tennis; she has been on her high school tennis team for four years but plans on playing tennis recreationally in college. Why I Joined AZC

I really joined this because I love listening to music and this will help me get closer to the music. I know I will have opportunities to meet artists and I know I will also get opportunities to go to concerts. Oh and, the owner just so happens to be my girlfriend!
